Electrolytic copper is made of coarse copper (containing 99% copper) into thick plate as the anode, pure copper into thin sheets as the cathode, sulfuric acid and copper sulfate mixture as the electrolyte. After electricity, copper dissolves into copper ions (Cu) from the anode and moves to the cathode. After reaching the cathode, electrons are obtained and pure copper (also known as electrolytic copper) is precipitated from the cathode.
